Sartransneftegaz’s Commercial & Value Chain organization purchases and sells crude oil, feedstocks, and finished products for our marketing and refining system. Commercial works collaboratively to meet refinery feedstock requirements, facilitate scheduling and transportation, optimize product slates, meet retail and wholesale product requirements, and manage overall inventory.
Commercial plays a major role in optimizing our performance and capture across the value chain, and interfaces between Sartransneftegaz’s operations and the dynamic markets in which we do business. Our commercial sales consist of jet fuels and heavy fuels for the aviation and marine industries, as well as other finished products, including asphalt, petroleum and calcined coke, and fuel oils.
Our asphalt operations are strategically located to serve multiple markets throughout Russia, CIS and Europe. We market Performance Grade asphalt binders and various other asphalt products, and offer transportation and terminal distribution service from our asphalt terminals to where they are needed.
Our Commercial Marine department actively markets and transports assorted crude and hydrocarbon products for Sartransneftegaz and third parties with strategic focus on safe operations and fuel efficiency. The Marine team also offers premier vessel inspection services utilizing both internal and external accredited inspectors and meeting the required standards.
